Cheat Sheet–The Knowledge Model for Agile Results

by JD

Here is a Cheat Sheet of the Model for Agile Results that you can use to go deeper into the productivity knowledge that Agile Results is based on.

One of the challenges in learning any space is understanding the core knowledge and cornerstone concepts behind it.

Behind the Agile Results productivity system, is a deep Knowledge Model.

You can think of a Knowledge Model as a representation of the knowledge for a given space or topic.

The Knowledge Model is the Backbone and “Mental Scaffolding”

The Knowledge Model serves as a “backbone” for Agile Results–It’s the firm foundation Agile Results is built on.

You can also think of the Knowledge Model as “mental scaffolding”.  It helps break up the knowledge into categories and sub-categories so you can work with it easier.

That’s the true power of a model.

In this way, the Knowledge Model is effectively a “balcony view” of the knowledge where the categories and sub-categories provide easy entry points.

I find it helpful to see simple outlines of the knowledge to understand what’s in scope.

Explore, Build, and Grow Your Productivity Knowledge

In fact, a good way to represent a Knowledge Model is to create a Mind Map to show the topology of the concepts, ideas, and categories.

You can use the Agile Results Knowledge Model to explore, build, and grow your productivity knowledge.

If you think of the base of the Knowledge Model as a simple set of categories, you can use it as a map to explore and expand what you know about productivity.

With that in mind, here is a Knowledge Model that represents the underlying knowledge behind Agile Results…
