The Monday Vision, Daily Outcomes, and Friday Reflection Pattern is a way to get results each day and each week.


Story-Driven Results

Each week, you create your 3 most important stories for results based on what you want to accomplish in your work life, your personal life, and in your bigger picture (mind, body, emotions, career, financial, relationships, and fun.) Each day you create your 3 most important stories for results (win a raving fan, have a great day, clear your backlog ... etc.) Here is a mental model for your weekly results:

Weekly Workflow at a Glance

Each week, identify 3 results you want for the week (your 3 big stories), and each day identify your 3 stories for that day (your little stories) and on Fridays, reflect on 3 things going well, and 3 things to improve.

Outcomes, Activities, and Guiding Questions for Weekly Results

The following chart helps guide your results each day. Saturday and Sundays are your buffer. They can be your down time, your time for cleanup, or simply a way to balance your structured results during the week.

  • What are your 3 best results to focus on for today?

Friday
